Most benchtop medical refrigerators have a capacity of around 30 to 80 litres and are shallower than many under-counter models. They are useful where vaccine or medicine stock volumes are modest and the refrigerator can be positioned at a practical working height.
When comparing benchtop vaccine fridges, consider storage capacity, external dimensions, shelf layout, door type, temperature monitoring, alarms, power consumption, noise level and ventilation requirements.
ENLAKE does not generally recommend placing a benchtop refrigerator underneath a bench. When positioned at floor level these compact cabinets can sit very low, making stock harder to see, reach and manage. If the refrigerator needs to sit below a bench, an under-counter vaccine fridge will usually be the better option.
