ABOUT US
Established in 2009, ENLAKE supplies medical and laboratory refrigeration equipment to customers across Australia. Our approach is straightforward: understand what the equipment actually has to do, explain the options honestly, and recommend what fits the job.
Who We Supply
In the last decade we have supplied more than 4,300 individual fridges and freezers, to customers in every state and territory of Australia. The figures below count customer sites rather than units. Going further back our records are less complete, but we estimate the all-time total is closer to 5,700.
We supply equipment from multiple manufacturer brands that meet Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP) requirements and Pharmacy Guild of Australia approval, giving pharmacy customers QCPP-compliant options to choose from.
What We Supply
Pharmacy and vaccine refrigerators, blood refrigerators, plasma freezers, laboratory refrigerators and freezers, ultra-low temperature freezers, mortuary cabinets, bone freezers, and other temperature-controlled equipment and accessories.
Most requirements are met by an off-the-shelf product from one of the brands we carry. Where a standard unit isn’t right for the job, we can work with manufacturers and specialist suppliers to have something custom manufactured or purpose-modified instead.
Depending on the project and what is technically feasible, that can mean changes to cabinet configuration, dimensions, temperature range, internal layout, access arrangements, controls, alarms or monitoring interfaces.
Projects, Installation and Support
ENLAKE supplies and fits out refrigeration for new and existing facilities, and stays involved past delivery. Depending on the equipment, site and project, we can provide or coordinate installation, commissioning, and the supporting systems that go with temperature-controlled storage: monitoring, alarms, calibration, temperature mapping and backup power.

Since 2009
ENLAKE has supplied medical and laboratory refrigeration for more than fifteen years, and the hands-on experience behind it — in refrigeration and in biomedical engineering — goes back further still.
That background, and the manufacturer and supplier relationships built since, is what the advice on this page rests on: knowing how this equipment behaves in service, what the differences between brands actually amount to, and when a simpler option will do the job.
Need help selecting the right equipment?
Tell us what you need to store, the temperature range it has to hold, the space available, and any monitoring or compliance requirements. We’ll come back with options, including modified or custom equipment where a standard product won’t do.
