Wireless Refrigerator Temperature Monitoring Systems

These wireless vaccine fridge monitoring devices will record the temperature inside your vaccine fridge. A fridge temperature monitor can also notify you if the temperature inside the vaccine refrigerator has gone outside of the required temperature range. A fridge monitoring device can send out an SMS and/or email to multiple people. To do this they need to connect to the internet. Some connect to the internet through a WiFi connection whilst others accept a Simcard and connect to the internet via 3G. There is also the option of using a Bluetooth connection.

A WiFi compatible vaccine fridge monitoring system is an affordable option with no ongoing costs. The downside is that these can't connect to the internet during a power outage unless the modem and NBM connection have battery back up. Fortunately, the new generation of wireless fridge monitors no longer suffer this problem as they will send out alerts from a remote server if the internet connection tour premises disconnects.

A 3G/4G compatible vaccine fridge monitor is more expensive and has the ongoing costs associated with having a Simcard. The upside is that the monitoring device will still operate during a power outage or in areas where there is no WiFi coverage.

The final option is a Bluetooth fridge thermometer, however, this solution is only really suitable for downloading temperature records. The reason for this is because if the Bluetooth fridge thermometer is paired to a device such as a smartphone, but the phone isn't within Bluetooth range, then the thermometer will have no way of pushing alerts through to the phone.
