Voltage Free Contacts
These are used to connect to a Building Monitoring System (BMS) or Remote Alarm in order to convey the alarm status of the fridge or freezer. This function acts much as a relay does. When powered up the contacts are closed and the contacts will open (or vice versa depending on the fridge manufacturer) if the fridge alarms or loses power. These are alternatively referred to as volt-free contacts or dry contacts. The following products all include this feature.-
