Solid Door Vaccine Fridges
These vaccine fridges have solid doors and are specially designed for use in medical practices and pharmacies for the storage of vaccines and medications.
A downside to solid doors is that they make it harder to locate the vaccines as the door must be opened before vaccines can even be seen. This can mean the door is open for longer, which may result in a rise in temperature within the vaccine fridge. Fortunately, all vaccine fridges are capable of rapidly bringing the temperature down to the correct range. Reducing door opening times can be simply achieved by having a vaccine fridge map located on the door.
Upsides to solid doors include better insulation, reduced electricity use, UV protection for light sensitive vaccines and medicines, and keeping fridge contents away from prying eyes.
