Low Temperature Freezers

Low temperature laboratory freezers are capable of operating at -40° C or slightly colder. In comparison, a standard laboratory freezer is typically set to run at -20° C and is incapable of running much colder than this. In order to operate at minus 40, a low temperature freezer will typically have thick insulation, internal doors and a large compressor.

If you need to store your products at an even lower temperature then you will need an ultra low freezer.
