Cold Chain Monitors

Cold chain monitors are used when transporting temperature-sensitive vaccines and pharmaceuticals to ensure that the temperature has stayed within +2° to +8°C range. Cold chain monitors have indicators which show you the current alert status. The status will show you if the good have stayed within the required temperature limits are safe to use, or if there has been a temperature breach.

Basic cold chain monitors have temperature-sensitive chemicals that will change colour if the temperature goes outside of +2° to +8°C. Others use coloured LEDs to advise you of the alert status. Premium cold chain monitors also have temperature data logging capabilities that allow a comprehensive report to be produced.
